Red-D Ultra – Deep Filtration Filter

The Protector™ Red-D Ultra is a cutting-edge filter that employs patented electro-adsorption technology, capable of removing pathogens and inorganic contaminants through electro-adhesion and ion exchange. This technology enables the filter to deliver filtration performance comparable to ultra-membranes but with low-pressure drop, high flow rate, and large capacity, making it equally effective for fresh and brackish water.

The filter medium consists of coated micro-glass fibers manufactured using wet-laid nonwoven technology. The base material of the filter is reinforced with spun-bond layers for additional durability and pleat support.

The Protector™ Red-D Ultra is certified by NSF/ANSI 61 (for drinking water system components – health effects) and has passed endotoxin tests and USP Class VI certification.

USP Class VI is a standard set by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) that ensures the biocompatibility of materials used in medical, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications. Specifically, it evaluates the safety of materials that come into contact with the human body or biological fluids and ensures their suitability for use in high-sensitivity applications such as:
